FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON OUR MOST POPULAR PROCESSES

LEATHER PATCH HATS

We don't have a hard and fast rule. Each order will have setup costs typically having the art made into a vector file if needed. Those cost are better divided over a dozen or two pieces. Usually for orders over 24 pieces we pickup those costs.

We sew our patches onto our hats one by one. It takes a little extra time but the look is timeless. If you have a particular shape you like and we can't sew it we will use a commercial heat seal and stick it on for ever.

We love wholesale orders. We have very competitive pricing on large orders. Please contact us for a quote!

Here are some general guidelines that should be followed to ensure that the final product turns out as desired.

  • The artwork should be provided in a vector format such as .ai, .eps, or .svg.
  • The artwork should be in black and white, with no grayscale or color.
  • Fine details and small text should be at least 0.3mm thick to ensure they will be visible after engraving.
  • The artwork should not contain any raster images or photographic elements, as they will not engrave well.
  • The artwork should be submitted with a clear outline and with no overlapping parts.

You can, however, we will have to charge a restocking fee since we order hats for your projects shortly after you pay.

We really arent set up to do that. We recommend trying to find the hat on Amazon if you are only interested in a blank hat. If you have any questions about the fit or color of a specific hat, please ask your designer.

We want to make your order as personal as possible. Feel free to mix it up. With our large inventory we are happy to piece together the colors you want!

Embroidery

Digitizing for embroidery refers to the process of converting a design or image into a digital file that can be read and understood by an embroidery machine. This process involves using specialized software to create a "digitized" version of the design, which includes information about the stitching, thread colors, and other details that the embroidery machine needs to properly execute the design.

During digitizing process, the digitizer ( a person who specialized in digitizing) will use software to create "stitch by stitch" instructions for the embroidery machine to follow. They will also determine the best type of stitching to use, such as satin or fill, and choose the appropriate thread colors. They will also make sure the design is optimized for the specific type of fabric it will be embroidered on.

Digitizing is a crucial step in the embroidery process, as it allows for precise and accurate reproduction of the design on the final product. Without digitizing, it would be very difficult or impossible to embroider a design with multiple colors, gradients and fine details.

It's important to note that not all designs are suitable for embroidery, and the digitizing process is not always a straightforward one, it requires skill and experience to create a high-quality digitized design that will look great when embroidered.
